Calculate capacitive reactance, charge, and energy

Formula

Xc = 1/(2πfC)Q = C × VE = ½CV²I = V / Xc

Capacitive reactance is calculated as Xc = 1/(2πfC), where f is frequency and C is capacitance. Charge stored is Q = C × V, and energy stored is E = ½CV².

Example: A 100μF capacitor at 60Hz has a reactance of 26.5Ω. With 12V applied, it stores 1200μC of charge and 7.2mJ of energy.
